Operations with decimals is an important fifth-grade concept. Add some fun to your decimal unit with EASEL. This set includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division practice. This resource includes two activities and an EASEL assessment.

Decimal Operations Practice & Jokes – 10 slides
The first six slides have moveable pieces and 3 problems per slide. The last four slides have 10 or 12 problems per slide. Solve the problems to reveal the answer to the joke.
Decimal Operations Word Problems – 14 slides
Students will read the problem and identify the operation needed to solve it. Then they will determine the correct number model and solve the problem.
EASEL Assessment – 10 self-checking questions
Ways to use:

What is EASEL?
Easel is TPT’s new digital platform. Students access activities and assessments on the EASEL platform. You access the platform through your TPT account. Easel activities and assessments are played directly on the EASEL platform. Activities and assessments can be assigned through Google Classroom or you can choose the option to “generate link” to share with your learning management system. **Please note that you may be asked to confirm your school, name, and school email if you choose to generate a link to be shared.
