Motivate your students to get beyond the difficulty of beginning a story and spark imaginative writing with these creative writing prompts. The Scrambled Stories activity uses story starters, but with a twist. Students begin writing one story and then rotate to add to another.
This digital writing prompt resource uses Google Slides™ and it is a great way for students to practice both written responses and typing. The bundle includes three resources.
Here’s how it works:
➜The teacher assigns the prompts to students (More specific directions in the resource.)
➜Students begin writing.
➜A timer goes off and the students switch to another student’s computer and continues writing.
➜Works with Google Classroom™, too!
This resource includes 5 prompts. You can use all of the prompts or just some of the prompts. Delete any of the slides that you do not need. There is also an editable slide included that you can use to create your own prompt. Check out my free Google Classroom videos to help with set up if needed.
